Links and file preparation

Plan your workflow, check the details, and deliver with a clear record.

Deliver External File Links Through Shopify Orders

Deliver externally hosted customer files with a provider-specific access check, version record, and maintenance owner.

Prepare a Google Drive file for a specific Shopify buyer and verify recipient permissions before delivering its link.

Send a Dropbox-hosted deliverable through Shopify with a tested link, appropriate permissions, and clear customer instructions.

Choose ZIP packaging or separately accessible files based on how the customer will open, find, and update their deliverables.

Create a customer-facing README that lists package contents, purposes, revisions, and the correct first action.

Use an order-first naming convention with ten synthetic examples and a separate check of the file’s actual contents.

Check a customer PDF for correct content, complete pages, readable text, and usable delivery before sending it.

Use a three-file compression experiment to measure size changes and preserve the customer’s required quality and functionality.

Choose between a frozen external deliverable and a changing document, then record exactly what the customer received.

Choose QuickAttach uploads or external links based on file size, customer access, ownership, and continuity.
