Set the decision before installing
Write the problem you need to solve: for example, two different custom files in one order with only one ready initially. Identify the required outcome and what would make the app unsuitable. A trial is most useful when it can produce a clear decision, including a decision not to adopt.
As checked on 30 September 2026, the official listing advertises a seven-day free trial. Recheck the listing and approval screen for your account before starting. Schedule the evaluation and billing decision within the actual period shown, rather than assuming the trial pauses while you are busy.
Evaluation scorecard
| Requirement | Evidence to collect | Decision |
|---|---|---|
| Correct item mapping | Distinct demo files attached to intended items | Pass, fail, or unresolved |
| Partial delivery | Ready item delivered; pending item explained | Pass, fail, or unresolved |
| Customer access | Email and enabled page paths tested | Pass, fail, or unresolved |
| Physical-order separation | Fulfillment and shipping effects inspected | Pass, fail, or not applicable |
| Costs and retention | Current terms compared with expected use | Acceptable or unresolved |
A fictional evaluation goal
Demo store “Maple Paper Studio” needs to send two different design packages after checkout. Its success criterion is that a trained colleague can deliver the ready package and identify the pending one without using a personal inbox. The evaluation records the actual steps and any confusion. It does not assume a time-saving percentage in advance.
Use a short sequence
- Read the walkthrough and prepare harmless test files.
- Review installation access and current billing terms.
- Run one clean single-item delivery.
- Run the important multi-item or external-link scenario.
- Rehearse a support question and a revision.
- List unresolved issues and contact support with sanitized evidence.
- Make the adoption decision before the relevant billing deadline.
Keep screenshots free of customer data and secret links. Record only tests actually performed. The scorecard here is an evaluation plan, not a product test report or a promise that every store configuration will pass.
If a required capability such as subscription management or proof approval belongs to another tool, assess that complete workflow separately. Do not count a future assumption as a passed trial requirement.
