Measure Time Spent Delivering Custom Files Before and After QuickAttach

Time comparable delivery tasks before and after adopting QuickAttach, using the same start and stop rules. Report the sample, task mix, failures, and setup effort; do not infer savings from a single convenient order.

Define the timed task

Separate file production from delivery. A useful delivery interval might start when the checked final asset is ready and end when the send is recorded and the operational note is complete. Write that boundary before measuring so one workflow does not include design time while the other excludes it.

Record active staff time separately from waiting time, such as an upload or delayed email. Decide how to handle interruptions and failed attempts. Do not quietly discard a slow task simply because it complicates the result.

Use matched synthetic assignments

For a fictional evaluation, prepare equivalent tasks involving a single PDF, a two-item partial delivery, and an external link. Use harmless demo files and controlled recipients. Compare the old and new process on similar tasks, and note that practice can make later runs faster regardless of the tool.

No timing experiment was executed for this article. The table is intentionally empty so a merchant can record actual observations rather than borrow invented performance numbers.

Include setup and support

Track installation, template preparation, training, and configuration as one-time effort rather than hiding them inside or outside whichever result looks better. If support work is part of the decision, run a separate “find the current file” task and describe its timing boundaries too.

QuickAttach's documented workflow can change where staff perform delivery actions, but documentation alone cannot establish time saved in your store.

Report a limited conclusion

A faster send is not an improvement if it skips identity checks or leaves support unable to trace the revision. Use the results alongside correctness, customer access, and cost when deciding whether to adopt.

Deliver the right file with the right order
