Clarify what the digital copy includes
A buyer of a custom print may receive a screen image, a printable file, or both. Those are different promises. Confirm the purchased format, dimensions, and permitted use from the actual offer before preparing the export. Do not assume that buying a physical print automatically includes editable source artwork or reproduction rights.
Prepare the digital copy from the approved artwork in your design tools. If the physical print has a special crop, frame, or material treatment, explain whether the digital version reflects it. A photograph of the finished product and the underlying artwork file are also different deliverables.
Fictional two-deliverable order
Demo order 5154 contains a personalized illustrated print and a screen-use copy. The artist finishes the approved artwork, exports the screen file, and sends it while the physical print awaits packing. The table below keeps both commitments visible.
| Output | Current state | Customer message |
|---|---|---|
| Screen copy v03 | Ready for digital delivery | Available through the order download path |
| Framed physical print | Awaiting packing | Shipping confirmation will follow separately |
If the buyer ordered a printable digital file instead, the first row would need the agreed printing specification. Do not reuse the screen export simply because it is convenient.
Digital release checklist
- Confirm the artwork and personalization match the approved revision.
- Check the digital file's intended use against the product offer.
- Remove draft marks unless intentionally part of the purchased output.
- Open the export and inspect the crop and complete image.
- Explain whether the customer needs any special software or supplier.
QuickAttach's order-item delivery can distribute the finished file or link. Inspect the optional fulfillment behavior before sending a file associated with a physical purchase. A digital send should not be used as evidence that the framed print has entered the carrier network.
Handle later corrections consistently
If a spelling correction affects both versions, create an operational task for each output. Replacing the digital copy does not change a print already in production. Support should check both states before promising a correction, then tell the buyer which part of the order has changed and which still needs action.
