Choose the customer set deliberately
A retouching workspace can contain original uploads, working files, alternate edits, and final exports. Do not ZIP the entire project directory. Identify the agreed image count, naming scheme, formats, and output use before building the delivery package.
Use only images you are authorized to process and distribute. This article’s example uses fictional image references and does not reproduce customer photography.
A synthetic set manifest
| Image reference | Final export | Included variant |
|---|---|---|
| DEMO-FRAME-01 | 523-01-final-R1.jpg | Approved color version. |
| DEMO-FRAME-02 | 523-02-final-R1.jpg | Approved color version. |
| DEMO-FRAME-03 | 523-03-final-R1.jpg | Agreed alternate crop. |
If a comparison sheet is included, label it as a reference and make clear whether it contains lower-resolution previews. The buyer should not print the comparison sheet thinking it is the final image set.
Check the entire sequence
- Compare final image count with the purchased scope.
- Match each export to its source reference.
- Inspect names for gaps, duplicates, and stale revision labels.
- Review the final edits and crops at useful magnification.
- Check metadata for unintended location or personal information.
- Remove working files and unrelated images from the package.
A contact sheet helps compare the set, but it does not replace opening final files. A small preview can conceal a damaged export or an unintended artifact.
Test the package rather than just the folder
Create the archive from a clean delivery folder, download a fresh copy, extract it, and compare the contents with the manifest. QuickAttach’s upload guidance specifies files under 100 MB; large image sets may need an approved external destination.
QuickAttach supports files or links associated with order items. It does not perform retouching, remove metadata, or decide image rights. Those checks remain with the studio.
Tell the customer how many final images are included and which files are previews or alternate crops. If one image is corrected later, identify it by the stable image reference and new revision rather than sending an unexplained replacement archive with the same name.
Deliver the right file with the right order
