Separate the purchaser from the intended users
A business might purchase several custom reports for different colleagues. The purchaser’s order email is one destination; the colleagues are additional intended users. Decide who should receive which material before selecting a delivery tool or promising a distribution pattern.
QuickAttach support asks merchants to confirm that an order has a customer email, and the walkthrough includes confirming the customer before sending. These documents do not establish a native multiple-recipient workflow. Do not infer one from support for several order items.
Use a recipient-routing worksheet
| Question | Decision to record |
|---|---|
| Who bought the work? | Order customer and authorized contact |
| Who should use each deliverable? | Recipient role for each item |
| May the purchaser access every file? | Yes, no, or unresolved |
| Does each recipient need separate access? | Required access boundary |
| Which system enforces that boundary? | Verified capability and responsible operator |
A recipient list alone is not an access design. If one person must not see another person’s document, putting both documents in a shared package for the purchaser may be unsuitable even though it is convenient.
Fictional example: a team-training purchase
Order 4209 contains three customized training plans bought by an office coordinator. One scenario allows the coordinator to receive and distribute all three. Another requires each participant to access only their own plan. These are different requirements and should not be solved by the same unexamined send action.
For the first scenario, a supported package delivered to the verified purchaser may fit the agreement. For the second, the merchant must confirm a tool and account structure that supports the required recipient separation. This article does not claim QuickAttach provides that separation.
Validate before offering a group product
- Test which recipient fields actually exist in the delivery workflow.
- Check whether external links require the intended recipient’s identity.
- Confirm who can see the complete set of order downloads.
- Decide how recipient corrections are authorized.
- Write support instructions for access failures without exposing another person’s file.
- Document any manual distribution step and its owner.
Do not test with real personnel documents. Use fictional files and controlled accounts, record actual observations, and ask support about any unsupported assumption. A clear limitation is preferable to a multi-recipient promise that your delivery setup cannot keep.
