One successful order is not enough coverage
A single-item demonstration can confirm that one file opens. It says little about an order with pending work, two units of a custom item, or a revision after the first send. Choose cases from the situations your store actually sells rather than testing a long list of unrelated features.
QuickAttach documents per-item delivery, partial and full sends, and optional fulfillment. These capabilities define useful areas to inspect. The matrix below is a proposed acceptance protocol; it is not a completed certification or a claim that every quantity arrangement is supported.
Prepare a controlled test set
Use order emails you control and harmless documents with large visible markers. Record the actual line-item structure, selected delivery scope, and fulfillment choice for each run. Customer screenshots should exclude working access tokens and unrelated account information.
| Case | Setup | Observation to record |
|---|---|---|
| All ready | Three different items, each reviewed | All intended files and clear item labels |
| Partial | One reviewed, two pending | Only intended release; pending work remains clear |
| Second release | Finish one previously pending item | New message and return path match actual availability |
| Quantity two | One line with two distinct outputs required | Supported association or documented packaging limitation |
| Revision | Replace one delivered output through supported controls | Observed old and new link behavior |
| Canceled work | Remove one planned item before send | Canceled output absent from release |
Set acceptance criteria before running
- No customer path returns another order’s document.
- Each selected output matches its item, variant, and approved revision.
- Unfinished work is not described as complete.
- Any fulfillment change matches the operator’s intended scope.
- The customer can identify what is available without staff explanation.
- Unsupported structures are documented rather than counted as passes.
A fictional release decision
A studio evaluating order 4210’s synthetic three-item scenario might pass the ordinary partial-send cases but find the quantity-two packaging unclear. The right result is a qualified rollout: use only validated order structures while resolving the quantity case. Do not convert “not tested” into “works” to simplify the report.
Keep a result row for each case with date, configuration, expected behavior, observed behavior, and follow-up owner. The walkthrough supplies the normal operating sequence; your matrix records whether that sequence fits the store’s real combinations. Repeat affected cases when changing delivery settings or customer-page configuration.
