Choose the caption workflow explicitly
A customer may need captions embedded visibly in the picture or supplied as a separate file for a publishing platform. Those are different deliverables. Confirm the requested approach, language, and target player before exporting. If both are purchased, label them so the buyer does not upload the wrong version.
A separate caption file must match the final edit. Removing an opening segment or changing a transition can alter timing even when the spoken words remain the same. Recheck captions after the last video revision rather than relying on a subtitle export made earlier.
A synthetic package specification
For demo order 5148, the fictional buyer requests a short product introduction as an MP4 plus a separate caption file accepted by their chosen destination. The format below is an example to validate, not a universal compatibility promise.
DEMO-5148-video-v04/
5148-introduction-v04.mp4
5148-introduction-en-v04.srt
README.txt
README: video and captions belong to the same edit;
use the receiving platform's caption-upload procedure;
report timing issues with the approximate playback position.
If the destination requires another format, export and test that format instead. QuickAttach does not convert captions or verify their syntax.
Proposed acceptance checks
- Play the exact final video, including its first and last moments.
- Load the separate captions in the intended receiving environment.
- Check timing near the beginning, middle, end, and any edited sections.
- Review names, punctuation, and speaker distinctions where relevant.
- Verify that the archive includes only the matching revision pair.
These checks do not amount to a completed accessibility or compatibility audit. Record actual findings and fix issues in your video or caption tools before releasing the customer package.
Deliver the pair clearly
A tested ZIP keeps the pair together; a hosted package can suit larger media. Consult QuickAttach's upload limit and verify the archive or external access before sending. The app's order-item delivery flow should not be described as multiple independent attachments per item.
In the message, identify the video revision, caption language, and whether the buyer needs to upload the caption file separately. If the buyer only wants to watch the video, explain the tested playback path rather than assuming that downloading both files makes captions appear automatically.
