Deliver a Website Review with a PDF and an External Video Link

Choose one clear customer entry point for the PDF and video, then test the video permissions separately. Do not assume an app supports two independent attachments on a single purchased item.

Decide what the package contains

A written review and a narrated walkthrough serve different purposes. The PDF can be the reference document; the video can demonstrate the findings in sequence. Give each a role so the buyer knows whether both are required.

QuickAttach documents a file or link per order item. Before designing two separate download buttons for one item, verify current compatibility. A single PDF containing the approved video link or one controlled package destination can provide a practical alternative.

Order DEMO-493 — Website review
Start here: review-R1.pdf
Inside the PDF:
  1. Scope and reviewed site
  2. Prioritized observations
  3. Link to narrated walkthrough
  4. How to ask a delivery question
Video label: DEMO-493 walkthrough R1
Access owner: delivery team

The PDF should include a descriptive clickable label and a fallback instruction for access problems. Avoid printing a private token in a public example or screenshot.

Review the recording before release

Watch the final export, including its opening and closing moments. Screen recordings can expose browser tabs, account details, notifications, or unrelated work. Confirm that the reviewed site matches the order and that any visible examples are appropriate for the recipient.

Keep a record of the video’s revision. If the PDF describes one version while the destination plays another, support cannot reliably explain what the customer received.

A two-part access test

  1. Open the delivered PDF on a representative customer device.
  2. Follow the exact video link inside it.
  3. Use a permitted identity that does not own the video.
  4. Check whether sign-in is required and tell the customer if so.
  5. Verify playback and any promised download option.
  6. Record the hosting owner and intended availability.

If using Google Drive, Google’s sharing rules control the destination. An order-linked URL does not change those permissions or preserve the video after deletion.

Tell the buyer to begin with the PDF and use the recording as a companion. If the two deliverables will arrive at different times, state that before purchase or in the agreed service update. Do not describe an incomplete package as final merely because one file can already be downloaded.
