Define a project identity that survives revisions
A business can commission reviews for different departments, locations, or periods. The delivery record should distinguish them without exposing sensitive business details in filenames. Keep the full brief in the approved production system and use a short internal reference on the export.
The assessment itself is produced and reviewed outside QuickAttach. This workflow organizes delivery; it does not certify the quality or professional validity of the conclusions.
A fictional project card
| Field | Synthetic value |
|---|---|
| Project reference | CEDAR-Q3-OPS |
| Order/item | DEMO-495 / operations assessment |
| Agreed scope | Fictional order-handoff process |
| Covered period | Illustrative third quarter |
| Approved export | 495-ops-R2.pdf |
| Release reviewer | Assigned assessment lead |
The project card helps the delivery operator check the right relationship without needing to reread confidential findings. It should not become a substitute for the approved report.
Inspect places where client mixing happens
Template-based work can retain an earlier client name in headers, footers, chart labels, appendix titles, or document metadata. Review the actual exported PDF, not just the first page. Also check any supporting links: a correct report can still point to another project’s folder.
- Match project reference to the order and purchased scope.
- Check all pages and appendices for unrelated material.
- Confirm the covered period and revision.
- Verify the authorized recipient through the store process.
- Open the final customer route before sending.
Keep delivery separate from interpretation
QuickAttach supports per-item files or links. Use that association for the finished assessment, and keep the message focused on what is available and where to begin. Do not expose the report’s sensitive conclusions in an email subject.
For the fictional project, a useful message says: “Your operations assessment for the agreed review period is ready. Start with the executive summary and use the action table as the discussion reference.” It does not imply the report has been accepted or implemented.
If the buyer asks a substantive question, route it to the assessment owner. If the file cannot be opened, support can use the order, project reference, and revision to resolve delivery without searching unrelated business documents.
Deliver the right file with the right order
