Anchor the review to an input version
A buyer may send a revised source while the reviewer is still working. Record which version the completed review covers and resolve any mismatch before delivery. Do not quietly present comments on an older draft as a review of the newest document.
Input collection and professional review occur outside QuickAttach. The app should not be described as a customer-upload portal, review engine, or electronic-signature service based on its delivery features.
A fictional review package
DEMO-497 purchases an editorial review of a fictional training handout. The approved package contains a marked-up PDF, a clean reading copy, and a short review note. The note states that both outputs relate to source revision 3 and identifies any sections intentionally left unchanged.
| File | Role | Customer instruction |
|---|---|---|
| 497-comments-R1.pdf | Annotated review | Read comments before editing. |
| 497-clean-R1.pdf | Readable proposed copy | Compare with the reviewed source. |
| 497-readme.txt | Package context | Confirm source revision and scope. |
Use one tested archive if these files belong to a single item and separate attachment support has not been verified. Do not include the customer’s original merely out of habit if it is unnecessary for the handoff.
Check comments and export behavior
- Confirm the source revision on the review note.
- Inspect comments in the final exported format.
- Remove internal reviewer discussions not intended for the buyer.
- Check whether the clean copy contains unintended markup.
- Open each delivered file without the authoring project.
- Verify the correct order and authorized recipient.
A file called “clean” should mean something specific in your service. It must not imply that the document is legally valid, approved by a regulator, or free from all errors.
Deliver the scope with the files
QuickAttach supports delivery of prepared files or links. A useful message names the review type and source revision, then tells the buyer which file to open first. Questions about the review’s substance go to the reviewer; access problems go to delivery support.
If a corrected review follows, label it as a new revision and explain whether it replaces one file or the whole package. Preserve the original order reference so the buyer and support team do not mistake the correction for a separate engagement.
Deliver the right file with the right order
